Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hulk Marketing Ltd (“Hulk Marketing”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit hulkmarketing.co.uk, contact us, or engage our services. We are committed to handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Hulk Marketing Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15931335), with offices in London, Birmingham, Slough and Manchester.
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@hulkmarketing.co.uk.
2. The information we collect
We collect personal data in three ways:
- Information you give us: when you complete a contact, audit, consultation or job-application form, or email/call us. This typically includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, the contents of your message, and any details you choose to share about your project or career history.
- Information collected automatically: when you browse the site we collect limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps, via server logs and cookies (see section 5). This is used for security, performance and analytics.
- Information from engaged work: if you become a client, we process the data necessary to deliver the services, which may include access to your marketing accounts, analytics and billing details, under a separate agreement.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we ask that you do not send it to us through our forms.
3. How and why we use your data (lawful bases)
We only process your personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so under UK GDPR:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or audit, based on our legitimate interests and/or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To deliver our services if you engage us, based on performance of our contract with you.
- To run and secure our website, prevent abuse and improve performance, based on our legitimate interests.
- To send marketing updates: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations, based on compliance with a legal obligation.
4. Marketing communications
We will only send you marketing emails if you have opted in, or where permitted for existing clients in relation to similar services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing hello@hulkmarketing.co.uk. We never sell your data to third parties.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used so we can improve it. Non-essential cookies (such as analytics) are only set where permitted. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site functions.
6. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where necessary, and only with vetted processors who act on our instructions under appropriate contracts, such as our website hosting provider, CRM, email and analytics tools, and professional advisers. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights. We never sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place (such as an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum), so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and audit records for up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Records relating to engaged clients are retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long as required by HMRC, our insurers and applicable contracts (generally up to 6 years). We then securely delete or anonymise the data.
9. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (including encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers) to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our measures regularly.
10. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to our processing;
- request portability of data you provided to us;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@hulkmarketing.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published here, with the “last updated” date above; material changes will be highlighted.
13. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
